Objections to Recommendations

NEAFC changed the data classification of objections to ‘public’ by decision of the Commission entering into force from February 2024. Such data as is already available for delegations on the website will therefore be made public. There is no requirement for Contracting Parties to provide a reason for objection when submitting an objection to an adopted recommendation and so this information is not available on the website prior to 2024 and may not be available in all cases. Specific enquiries regarding objections should be sent to info@neafc.org for forwarding to the Secretary.
