PSC applies to landings and/or transhipments in ports of NEAFC's Contracting Parties (CPs) of frozen fish caught in the Convention Area (CA) by foreign fishing vessels.
European Union (EU), Denmark (in respect of the Faroes Islands and Greenland), (DNK(GRL, FRO)), Iceland (ISL), Norway (NOR), and the Russian Federation (RUS)

PSC will apply if any part of your catch has been transhipped from a donor vessel that is not from your country.
PSC will apply if any part of your catch has been transhipped from a donor vessel that is from the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway or Russia.
This is illegal.
(Exception applies to vessels flying the flag of a Cooperating Non-Contracting Party). You will not be able to land the catch and you risk having your vessel put on the NEAFC IUU B-List.
Designated ports
You cannot land your frozen catch in any other port.
You will be authorised to tranship in port but not land catch.
This advice has been written to sum up a part of the NEAFC "Scheme of Control and Enforcement". It must not be used as the basis for any decision. The "Scheme of Control and Enforcement" must be consulted. Commercial operators are required to deal directly with the Flag State of their vessel in relation to these matters and seek any confirmation or advice from these officials. NEAFC cannot be responsible for any misunderstanding of this advice.
