Heads of delegations sign the coastal states blue whiting agreement December 16 in Oslo

The Coastal States have agreed allocations, multiannual TACs and an arrangement for international waters. Management plans have been in places since 2002.
The agreement is seen as a major breakthrough for the largest fishery in the NEAFC Convention Area
